The lineup for the final Tracks event has just been announced!

Happening Saturday April 21 at The Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre, this event is the third in a series designed to highlight emerging musicians in Western Sydney and provide support in accessing the music industry.

Get insights into the industry from Hau Latukefu (Forever Ever Records),  Ren Won (Koori Radio), Thandi Phoenix (Solo Artist), Jessica Krishnaswamy (BBE & FOMO Festival) and Adam Rudy Udovich (WME). We’ll also be hosting speed dating sessions with Life Without Andy’s Christopher Kevin Au, Entropico’s Gabe Gasparinatos and Justice Crew’s Solo Tohi. Rounding out the afternoon, catch performances from local artists SPVRROW, Jessica Jade, Angel Tairua, Mi’Kaisha and Maysa Tippins.

Our music programming team will also be on ground to take music submissions and offer specific radio advice.


Entry is free with RSVP. There’ll be free food and refreshments as well.



Hau Latukefu – MC / triple j presenter / Forever Ever Records

Hau Latukefu was born in Australia to Tongan parents, giving him two cultures to draw from for both writing lyrics and performing on stage. With 20 years of writing and performing under his belt, Hau best known as the front man for ARIA award winning duo, Koolism.
In 2008, Hau took the reigns as presenter and producer for the Hip Hop Show on triple j – sharing his experience and vast knowledge of the scene. He continues to rule the airways, sharing his love for RnB, Soul, Funk and everything in between on his new Double J show, Sky High. In 2017, Hau partnered with Sony Music Entertainment to launch Forever Ever Records, applying his passion to mentoring local up-and-coming Hip Hop & R&B artists.


Ren Won – Radio Show Host – Koori Radio 93.7and Kr00 Koori Radio Digital

Ren Won is a Murri woman who has been a vocal activist for Indigenous rights, as well as campaigning for women in the music industry. She has successfully brought important voices in music to a worldwide audience. With her partner Frank, Ren hosts a weekly hour of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Hip Hop which is syndicated across Australia on CBAA’s Community Radio Network (CRN), and in the USA and Canada on the Native Voice One network.


Thandi Phoenix – Artist – Universal

A previous FBi Radio Independent Artist of the Week, Thandi joins the panel fresh off her showcase performances at SXSW 2018 in Austin TX, and a number one single on the Spotify Viral Chart. No stranger to the big stage, Thandi has worked and toured with artists the likes of Rudimental, Jhene Aiko, Tinashe, Ta-KU and Tinie Tempah.


Jessica Krishnaswamy – Co-founder & Director – BBE & FOMO Festival

One half of Sydney-based power team BBE, Jessica Krishnaswamy, along with husband and business partner Anand are responsible for some of Australia’s most exciting tours to grace AUS/NZ in the past five years – Post Malone, SZA, Diplo, Kaytranada, RL Grime, ODESZA, Jamie xx, Kaytranada and more. In January 2016, the pair, alongside their Brisbane Business Partner Steven Papas, launched FOMO Festival which in a few short years has grown from one stand alone Brisbane event, to a nationally sold out touring festival.


Adam Rudy Udovich – Tour Manager – Teenagers in Tokyo

Starting out as the drummer for Sydney band, Teenagers in Tokyo, Rudy made a career managing tours for artists such as A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Mac Miller, Danny Brown and Yelawolf. He now works for the world’s biggest booking agency, William Morris Endeavour (WME), and is passionate about developing and breaking the next global artist from Australia.



Solo Tohi – Producer

A multitalented creator, entertainer and teacher, best known as a member of Justice Crew, Solo has recently carved a name for himself as a producer and DJ. Solo’s ideas and production have been used by artists such as Manu Crooks, Anfa Rose and Pieter T (NZ). Solo will be giving production advice – in particular getting started with Logic Pro.


Gabe Gasparinatos – Videographer

Gabe is a videographer and film director at Entropico, a creative agency working with brands like Nike, Vice, and Google. Gabe’s work has brought the stories and ideas of artists such as BWISE, Spit Syndicate and Imbi the Girl to life on the big screen. Gabe will be offering advice on music video production.


Christopher Kev Au – Life Without Andy

Christopher Kevin Au is a music journalist and video host from the depths of South-East Sydney, having thrown banter for Life Without Andy, Highsnobiety, The Sydney Morning Herald, VICE, Inthemix, Oyster Magazine & more. As a fan and contributor to Sydney’s growing Hip Hop and Streetwear scenes, Kevin has been instrumental in helping local emerging artists get their music seen and heard by a wider audience. Kevin will be sharing tips and tricks on how to approach media outlets, blogs and other online media.
