The Gum Ball

The Gum Ball is an all ages, camping, byo, music and arts festival set in the idyllic Hunter Valley. The second line-up announcement is in and now boasts Mat McHugh, the creative force behind The Beautiful Girls, performing hits from the band’s catalogue.  ARIA award winning Aussie rock stalwarts Front End Loader will be there, alongside the 60’s inspired rhythm and soul spectacle, Clairy Browne and Bangin’ Rackettes. Also appearing are Melbourne’s ‘ferocious and infectious ones to watch’ The Delta Riggs, alternative electro hip hop master The Tongue, Seattle based alt-rockers Massy Ferguson, Aussie meets Caribbean big band Eucalypso feat. Gleny Rae, raucous in the traditional sense Two Rivers Blues, and from the other side of the stream, The Perch Creek Family Jug Band bringing their unique blend of bluegrass/country blues and old time jazz. That’s in addition to the bands already announced:  Custard, Jinja Safari, Ash Grunwald, Vika & Linda Bull, Wagons, SiettaKim Churchill, Fire! Santa Rosa Fire!, Benjalu and The Joe Kings .  So pack your swag, esky and deck chair (logs supplied), and escape to the friendliest festival out there.
