American writer and art-lover James Lord is asked to sit for a portrait by artist Alberto Giacometti. What develops is an off-beat relationship and a revealing insight into the beauty and frustration of the artistic process.

Directed by Stanley Tucci, Final Portrait stars academy award winner Geoffrey Rush as Swiss painter Alberto Giacometti, as well as Armie Hamer as James Lord.
