BPS presents The Grand Slam ft: Alysia Harris

In its fourth annual year, Bankstown Poetry Slam presents the Grand Slam: a fierce competition of words from Western Sydney’s sharpest wordsmiths. Sydney’s only team based spoken word competition will see 32 finale contenders and 8 teams battle it out for first place.

UN Human Rights Day - free entry to David Goldblatt

To mark Human Rights Day, the MCA are offering free entry to their Sydney International Art Series exhibition ‘David Goldblatt: Photographs 1948-2018’ for one day only. It’s that time of year again, and if you know The Bearded Tit you’ll know they don’t like to do the same thing everyone else is doing. So this year, instead of celebrating some old white man sliding down a sooty hole to leave you with questionable trinkets, they have decided to celebrate the (w)hole of vagina-hood, in all it’s luscious flappy glory with an exhibition by Kristen Fredericks and Betty Grumble.
