Cop Envy‘s unreleased tunes have been sprinkled across our Sunset shows quite a bit in the past year. Finally, the mysterious Sydney beatmaker is set to release his debut solo EP.
Titled Total End, the project will be available next month on Black Opal, a subsidiary of UK label Opal Tapes. The EP boasts four tracks of rich, percussive techno, including a hard hitting remix from UK producer Manse. Get a taste – streaming now here.
In the lead up to the release, Cop Envy shared a mix on Andy Garvey’s new show on FBi 94.5FM, Pure Space. Blending spacial ambience with the punchiest percussion patterns this side of your nearest drum circle – take a listen below.
