This week on Ears Have Ears we premiere compositions by Club Weld, a supported music studio program for musicians on the autism spectrum who took up residency at the Opera House’s broadcast studio during Vivid LIVE.
Based out of the Information and Cultural Exchange (I.C.E) in Parramatta, Club Weld provides a supportive environment for its participants to develop skills and confidence in all areas of music making, from one-on-one sessions to experimental collaborations.
Tune in to hear an exclusive selection of tracks produced by Club Weld under the guidance of this year’s program mentors and former Vivid LIVE musicians Rainbow Chan, Dro Carey and George Nicholas. Club Weld facilitator Sam Worrad will be joining us live in the studio for a chat, plus you’ll hear interviews with some of the Club Weld participants.
