Sydney duo Corner Store Superheroes are straight up electronic poets. We promise they aren’t on fast forward, they just know what they’re doing.

Eddy B and Kid Fiction share the duties of the outfit, with Kid Fiction producing the stellar backdrop for Eddy B’s swirling and intense rhymes. Coming from a poetry, beat making and production background, these fellas have hit the ground running- already enticing the likes of Kye to get involved with their tracks.

Corner Store Superheroes’ sound is a tumble of reggae, beats, trap and lyrics so fast you’ll hear a new one after even the thousandth listen. Legit though, do not try to sing along- even to the choruses because they will lull you into a false sense of saucy security with their (relatively) slow R’n’B twists just to pull the rug out from under you the second those high octane verses come sprinting back. I don’t know this from experience or anything, it’s not like these guys made me look like a total n00b in front of like 20 people, so whatever.

Heaps of their stuff is available as a free download from Bandcamp, so get on that.
