Track Premiere: Endgrain ‘Heavy Lifting’

June 15th 2017

Endgrain

Local producer Endgrain has just unleashed his thumpin’ new club track ‘Heavy Lifting’. Premiering on FBi this afternoon, it’s the second taste of his forthcoming EP due later this year.

The follow up to his infectious single ‘4 x 4’, ‘Heavy Lifting’ sees Endgrain pair hooky percussion with overdriven 808s. The result is a gritty, dancefloor ready tune.

Taking cues from UK club culture, the former indie artist of the week adopts a very DIY attitude when it comes to his own music. As one of the brains behind Sydney’s Translate Sound System, Endgrain has evolved from the more colourful beats he’s made under past monikers in favour of more sub-heavy sounds.

Hard at work on his debut EP, Endgrain has hinted at laid-back slow jams, heart-racing club music and almost everything in between. Keep an ear out, it’s due for release later this year via October Records.

Heavy Lifting is out June 16 through October Records.
