  • The Ruminaters :: Interview on Mornings

Garage four piece The Ruminaters stopped by the studio to talk with Lana Wylie about releasing their new single ‘Mr. Bubbles’ at Brighton Up Bar this Saturday, and their upcoming European tour.

Their live show is made up of mostly new tunes, with only a few older tracks featured on the setlist.  The guys are pumped to be playing their new stuff, and gave us a live rendition of ‘The Devil Stole My Brother, Ate Him Up, Chewed Him Up, and Spat Him Out’. The softer track contrasts the rest of the album, which is mostly fast paced.

It isn’t long before The Ruminaters head overseas for their European tour, where they’ll be playing with the likes of The Black Lips, Eagulls and White Fence. They’re also looking forward to recording a few more tracks while they’re abroad.

For now, they’re looking forward to their last show in Sydney before taking off. They’ll be supported by Raindrop and The Strums at Brighton Up Bar – and potentially some nudity from The Ruminaters, apparently.
