FBi Turns 10 was simply magical. The best crowd, the best bands, the best vibes, the best venue… we cannot thank you enough for joining us in celebration of our 10th birthday. A special, indescribable thanks goes to the bands for waiving their usual fees to play on the day, and to the volunteers who worked tirelessly around the clock to make this event a success.

You spend half the time watching bands and half the time hugging everyone in sight.”

“Forget milestone birthdays – FBi Radio should do this every year.”

‘Great acts, an impeccably run event, tasty food, a cool and super laid-back crowd, and the bliss of witnessing how far a little community radio station can go.’

FBi has been on air full-time since August 29, 2003. We’re the first community radio station to play 50% Australian music, and half of that comes from Sydney. FBi Turns 10! doubles as a fundraiser to help us keep fighting the good fight – that is, to make Sydney one of the most culturally vibrant cities in the world by supporting our local music, art and culture. The BIGGEST hugs go to all the artists who have waived their usual fees to play for us on our big day.
