Before they head off to Iceland, we asked local three piece Middle Kids to share their favourite Sydney tunes on The Bridge.

The Sydney three piece won FBi’s Northern Lights competition for 2016, scoring them a spot on the official lineup Iceland Airwaves festival. They’ll play in Reykjavik this week alongside the likes of PJ Harvey, The Internet, Of Monsters & Men, Warpaint and Santigold. Oh, and Björk! She’ll be there too.

Hannah, Tim and Harry joined Ryan Saar on The Bridge to program an hour full of fellow Sydney legends, and discuss what has been a pretty huge 2016 for the band so far. Using their Northern Lights opportunity to tee up a mini international tour, Middle Kids will play two shows in Reykjavik, then one in London at the Shacklewell Arms on November 10.
