You should probably know by now exactly how great Guerre is, but if for some strange reason you’re oblivious to this fact, ‘Rashed (Loose Pace)’ will confirm it for you. Growing in leaps and bounds since his 2011 EP ‘Darker My Love’, Guerre’s latest track is testament to his talent.

‘Rashad (Loose Pace)’ is a beautiful, rollicking, glitchy tune of ghostly vocal samples and soulful piano chords layered over the top of chopped and screwed beats. Think James Blake crossed with Shlohmo and you get what his soundcloud describes as ‘Ambient Ghetto’. The production values are great as well, moving away from his DIY roots to a slicker sound. ‘Rashad (Loose Pace)’ is available now from Bandcamp as a free download and will be released on November 14 as a 2 track download through Yes Please. Keep an eye out for more Guerre releases next year!
