Guestbook :: Sable on The Mixing Bowl

Sable

Yep it’s another bloody Perth producer on this show.

Things have been lining up for ol’ Sable lately. The kawaii bass connoisseur has scored serious nationwide airplay off the back of his track ‘Feels So Good’, and played club gigs everywhere but your mum’s backyard (yeah my mum’s backyard is a club, so what).

He’s keeping the ball rolling too, having just released a collaborative track with co-Perthites Slumberjack – a name that’ll be familiar to regular listeners of The Mixing Bowl thanks to their raging summer residency mixes. It was kinda fitting then, that Sable should come in for a set, if only to prevent Slumberjack from hogging all the airtime.

The man did not disappoint. Throwing down plenty of exclusive edits and remixes (including his Basenji remix – it’s so secret that Instagram couldn’t even record it) made it a pretty special set, and one worth seeing in the flesh if you can make it to one of the remaining dates on Sable’s national tour.
