Did you know that the very first jack o’lanterns were actually made from turnips? How about that according to tradition, if a person wears his or her clothes inside out and then walks backwards on Halloween, he or she will see a witch at midnight?  Freeeeaky.

Some pretty crazy shit goes down at Halloween. This year goes without exception as FBi Social gear up to host FOUR spooktacular parties! Stock up on fake blood and get those topical costumes organized, it’s time to get into the spirits (sorry!) of things. Behold, your very own trick-or-treat bag of delicious FBi goodies:

This Friday night sees ROBOPOP’s 2nd Birthday celebrations take shape in the form of a free Halloween party. Expect killer party tunes and potential encounters with frightening dead celebs like Michael Jackson, as the dress code for the night is scary pop stars. More details for this party (Friday 26th October) can be found HERE

On Saturday night Corpus, Gunface, Laugh Riot and The Si Claros shake things up a bit for FBi’s infamous Halloween Party. Ghosties, ghouls and pixie-types are all welcome. After monster mashing yourself late into the night, Willow Beats and Tokyo Denmark Sweden will hit the stage for a spooky edition of our late night party Hands Up! More details for these parties (Saturday 27th October) can be found HERE  and HERE

Wednesday is Halloween, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with Sydney’s own ‘tabloid artist’ Jesse Willesee as he takes over all five levels of the Kings Cross Hotel. Anything but the average club night, his camera-friendly interactive art party will feature art installations, live music and fashion. FBi Social will be partying with Hand Games for their Mix Tape Launch, getting down with Teenage Mothers, Kill City Creeps, Black Zeros and Bang Bang Rock n’ Roll. More details for this party (Wednesday 31st October) can be found HERE

So there you have it. Dance, drink and be scary!
