Too many cooks have a reputation for spoiling the broth, but when Guerre remixed ‘Heartbreak’ by Clubfeet featuring Chela, they collectively cooked up a pretty goddamn tasty track.

‘Heirs & Graces’ is Clubfeet’s upcoming sophomore album, set for release on January 18th 2013, and ‘Heartbreak’ is the first little snifter of things to come since their acclaimed Gold on Gold release in 2010 – and oh boy, what a snifter it is.

But then comes along Sydney beatsmith Guerre to mix ‘Heartbreak’ up in a big way by essentially taking out the summery vibe and beating it into a wintery pulp.

The track features Chela, who you may know from such things as Goldroom’s ‘Fifteen’, where she also lent her gorgeous vox – but then Guerre mercilessly tore her voice apart to turn this once soaring and upbeat track into a ghostly and lush two-step.
