Perth’s sleepiest purveyors of melodic bass music are set to bring you three mixes on FBi this summer.

If you’re getting all sweaty over the recent efforts of Wave Racer and Basenji, Slumberjack are definitely your jam. The two-man production team from out west had been making electronic music for a few years before starting the Slumberjack project together. They left the  electro and dubstep of their early projects behind for the most part, but they’ve taken away a very solid foundation of production experience that belies their youth.

Slumberjack’s inclusion in The Mixing Bowl‘s Summer Residency (alongside Motorik Vibe Council, Airwolf and Go Freek) is not their first appearance on the show. Their spectacular remix of Wave Racer’s ‘Rock U Tonite’ was premiered on the The Mixing Bowl on the same September night that their Fade Up mixtape aired. Given the quality of their mixtape, it was a given that Slumberjack would once more find themsleves spinning tunes on FBi before long.
