This June, world-renowned performance artist Marina Abramović will travel to Sydney to create a new transformative public art experience over 12 days at Pier 2/3 in Walsh Bay.

The first of its kind in Australia, Marina Abramović: In Residence will run June 24 to July 5, presented free-of-charge to the public for anyone aged 12 years and above.

Over twelve days, Abramović will conduct a series of exercises from the Abramović Method, working with her assistants, to engage directly with visitors. The project represents the latest developments in Abramović’s innovative four-decade-long career, during which she has continued to investigate the shifting roles of artist and audience, placing her work at the forefront of contemporary art practice.
