Impact

Impact is a touring exhibition from Cairns Regional Gallery which examines the long-term effects and ongoing presence of colonisation on First Nation communities in Australia and the Pacific region. New media and video works by Michael Cook, Fiona Foley, Taloi Havini and Angela Tiatia explore narratives of dispossession, alienation, conflict, gender, race and history.

HÔTEL HÔTEL

After traveling far and wide in 2015, Sydney based photographer Yasmin Mund was captivated by the scenery of Agay, a small village in the South of France, situated between St Tropez and Cannes on the Cote d’Azur. The Hôtel Hôtel series was taken over three weeks of summer in 2015, and it showcases the coastal life and landscape of this quaint little town on the Mediterranean Sea.

The Infinite Faces of Chenny Baby

Multidisciplinary artist Aaron Chen brings you the freshest and most exquisite comedy you will have ever seen. He has been doing comedy for so long now and is itching to debut a solo show for you. It will cover many of the most pressing issues today and he might reveal his crush.

Garage Barbershop

Garage Barbershop culminates with an exhibition at Blacktown Arts Centre, sharing photographic  portraiture and urban reportage from acclaimed photographer Harold David alongside video interviews with barbershop regulars. You’ll also be able to get your ‘check up from the neck up’ with the barbers providing on site cuts by appointment.
